NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSIDER
ENACTMENT OF ORDINANCE
NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida, at a meeting to be held on Monday, the 12th day of June, 2023 at 6:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Commission Chambers, located at the James S. Page Governmental Complex, 96135 Nassau Place, Yulee, Florida, intends to consider for adoption the following proposed Ordinance:
ORDINANCE No. 2023 - ____
AN ORDINANCE OF BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF NASSAU COUNTY, FLORIDA; AMENDING APPENDIX A – LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE; ARTICLE 3. -ADMINISTRATION; SPECIFICALLY AMENDING SECTION 3.04. -PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD; AMENDING ESTABLISHMENT, COMPOSITION, TERMS, AND QUALIFICATIONS; PROVIDING FOR RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF CONFLICTING PROVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Copies of the Ordinance are available at the County Manager’s Office, 96135 Nassau Place, Suite 1, Yulee, Florida 32097 Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., except legal holidays.
THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO BE PRESENT AND BE HEARD. In accordance with Florida Statute 286.0105: “If any person decides to appeal any decision made of this Board or Committee with respect to any matter considered at this scheduled meeting or hearing, the person will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose the person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.”
The Board of County Commissioners may continue hearings on this matter.
