These "HAM" Radio Operators donate their time, equipment, and expertise in the EOC every day and are critical to our communications during disasters. They will be cooking and serving for three days straight! Meals are $6-$10 and include a soft drink and two sides (slaw, beans, or potato salad).
All funds collected will be used to purchase and maintain HAM Radio Equipment for Nassau County ARES.

Based on the passage of House Bill 631 (Beach Bill), the Board has formed a Fact Finding Committee consisting of Michael S. Mullin, County Attorney, Shanea Jones, County Manager, and Taco Pope, Director of Planning & Economic Opportunity, to receive testimony and documentary evidence as to the customary and historic use of the dry sand areas of beaches within unincorporated Nassau County.
