Sale of Surplus Real Property51 acres vacant land at 463436 SR 200, Yulee, FloridaNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Chapter 125.35, Florida Statutes, the following described land in Nassau County, Florida, will be sold pursuant to sealed bids to be received at the Robert M. Foster Justice Center, C/O John A. Crawford, Ex-Officio Clerk, 76347 Veterans Way, Suite 456, Yulee, Florida 32097, not later than the hour of 4:00 PM on December 12, 2017. Bids will be opened at 10:00 AM, or there soon after, on December 13, 2017. Bid envelopes shall be clearly marked “Sale of Real Property, Bid Number NC17-032”. Bids will be considered by the Board of County Commissioners on January 8, 2018 at their regularly scheduled meeting to be held in the Commission Chambers, located at the James S. Page Governmental Complex, 96135 Nassau Place, Yulee, Florida. The property shall be sold in its “as is” condition. The Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida, makes no warranties or guarantees as to the title to the property described herein:

Bidder is required to submit with their bid a cashier’s check in the amount of twenty percent (20%) of their bid, payable to the Nassau County Board of County Commissioners.

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive formalities in any bid and/or all bids, in whole or in part, with or without cause, and to accept the bid which is, in the opinion of the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest of Nassau County, Florida. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
The highest bidder that is chosen by the Board of County Commissioners must have the amount set forth in the bid tendered (balance due) to Nassau County at the Clerk’s Office, 76347 Veterans Way, Yulee, Florida 32097, in the form of a cashier’s check within thirty (30) days of acceptance by the County of this bid, unless extended by the Board of County Commissioners. Failure to provide the cashier’s check by the time required may cause a rejection of the bid and the Board may award the bid to the next highest bidder.
